Hello to anyone who is exploring my first website ever! I mean I have an Instagram, Facebook and Twitter (all the necessities to procrastinate); but, I've never actually built my own website! Anyway, my name is Caitlin Annas and I am a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. I am a psychology major, and double minoring in Criminology and Behavioral Analysis. Once I graduate UNCW, I hope to further my education by getting a Masters in Psychology and maybe start my own private practice!
UNCW is such an amazing school, and I promise you will not regret making Wilmington your home for the next four years. Why? Glad you asked.
1. You will be living five miles away from the beach. At the beginning of the year, UNCW holds a huge party at the beach to kick off the start of a new year. It's called Beach Blast and its my favorite tradition!
2. You will also be living five miles from downtown Wilmington. Which means cool clothes, good food and something to do when you get stir crazy.
3. Einstein Bros. Bagels. It is in the Fisher Student Union-and it has the best bagels ever.
4. You have a beautiful campus that has lots of benches to sit on and plenty of trees to strap up your eno.
5. Pretty good weather (besides rain that can come out of nowhere-Tip: always have your raincoat on you). I love studying outside, as long as the weather permits, so I like to study around the Library and Bear where there are lots of picnic tables to sit at. If that doesn't work out, because it's too hot, too cold or its raining, I like to go to the second floor of the library. It's the quiet floor so there are less distractions which is great.
6. There are so many great professors that truly love what they teach and are so willing to help you. The list goes on an on-trust me.
Now a few things about myself. I am from Fuquay Varina, North Carolina and I have lived there my entire life. I love my chacos, reading books, eating chocolate, drinking coffee and going on adventures with my corny and crazy friends. I enjoy taking pictures, watching sunsets, cuddling in my bed, listening to Indie Rock, looking up crafty things to do on Pinterest and eating at Dub's Café. So, that's me in a nutshell-but don't worry you'll get to know more about my nutty self as the year progresses. Cannot wait to get to know each and everyone of you!
